All rural health clinics are required to have a policy and procedure manual printed and available for on-site access. Your surveyor will request to look at a hard copy of the policy and procedure manual when they conduct an on-site office visit.

For Independent Clinics, your RHC Policy & Procedure Manual will be fully developed by HSA staff. The manual will meet all Federal and State requirements.
For Provider Based Clinics, we will fully develop your RHC Policy & Procedure Manual that will meet all Federal and State requirements. This will include the integration of core hospital policies for key sections with "refer to" pages reflecting ownership and additional policies from the main entity.

See our Policy and Procedure Manual Table of Contents.

RHC Policy and Procedure Manual Development and Updates
All Provider Based RHCs are required to have civil rights policies and signed civil rights forms submitted to the Office of Civil Rights. We are familiar with the needed civil rights policies and provide civil rights policy review assistance.
